We’re Recruiting a Social Media Officer (Voluntary)

We are inviting expressions of interest for the voluntary role of Social Media Officer, who will also join our Executive Committee at the International Contact Research Network (ICRN). This is an opportunity to help shape how we communicate and connect as an international research community while gaining experience in research communication and digital engagement.

You will work closely with our Communications Team and one of our Co-Chairs. We work collaboratively and value creativity, initiative, and new ideas.
About the Role
Social Media Officer
- Shape, maintain, and moderate our social media presence
- Lead activity on LinkedIn and Bluesky, with scope to explore additional platforms
- Collaborate with our podcast, newsletter, and website teams to:
- Share updates and opportunities
- Highlight members’ work
- Promote events
- Increase the visibility of our network
Executive Committee Member
- Attend termly (and occasional ad hoc) Executive Committee meetings
- Contribute to discussions about future opportunities, events, and network development
The role will begin as soon as possible and involves an initial 12-month commitment, with the possibility of extension.
